Setting up the basic accounting functions was covered under the Accounting Setup section of Getting Started. This General Ledger section gets into more detail by utilizing the tutorial data. In previous sections of the tutorial, we tried to keep data as realistic as possible. In this General Ledger section, we are abandoning all attempts to be realistic with the data. This section will provide you with a review of the mechanics of using the general ledger without getting bogged down in details and excessive data entry. You must reset your tutorial before continuing with this section.
