The General Ledger Module includes a few more reports. In practice, these are the reports requested by an outside accountant in order to prepare annual filings, and the reports requested by internal management in order to get a complete picture of the business activity.
There are a few common terms used in the ledger reports:
| • | Preliminary Report - If the included periods have not been locked, the word "Preliminary" will appear in the report title and the following description will appear at the top of the report: PLEASE NOTE: Because this report is PRELIMINARY, data represented on this report may change. All periods covered by this report must be locked before final figures can be shown. |
| • | Conditional Report - If the period entered has not yet been imported into the General Ledger, the word "Conditional" will appear in the report and the following description will appear at the top of the report: PLEASE NOTE: Because this report is CONDITIONAL, data represented on this report may change. Month-end procedures must be completed for all periods covered by this report before final figures can be shown. This conditional report will include all data in the Xebra even though it hasn't been officially imported. Since the data has not been imported, the Xebra labels it "Conditional" due to the implication that the Summary Journals have not been verified. |

| o | PLEASE NOTE: There are no beginning balances present for this fiscal year. Report figures will not be accurate until beginning balances are entered or the prior year is closed. |
| o | PLEASE NOTE: The Last Month Closed has not locked in all periods covered by this report. Use the Review button on the main General Ledger window to verify that General Ledger data is up to date. Then, adjust the Last Month Closed on the main Accounting window to lock in the data. |
