Assignments is an internal system for sending and receiving job-related tasks within your organization. You can toggle back and forth between Notes and Assignments from the main Order Entry screen. Simply click on the radio button to activate either function.
From this screen, you can view All, Open, Unread, Past Due, and Complete assignments. To create a new assignment, click on the Create New button.
Fill in the To, Subject, Assignment, and Due fields, and click on the Assign button. The operator in the To field will receive a flashing blue ball as notification that they have received a new assignment.
When the operator responds, you will be able to see when they read it, their response, and if/when they completed it.
If you double-click on the assignment on the Order Entry screen, you will be able to see all details (when assigned, when due, when read, when completed, etc.). You can also choose to Reopen the assignment if needed. All of these details can also be seen from the Dashboard in Messages/Assignments > Assignments > Assigned.
