Xebra allows operators to send and receive messages within a company. There is a Message menu item within the File menu of all main Xebra windows.
The Send Message window is used to compose and send a message to an operator. There is also an option on this window to send the same message to everybody in the company.
When an operator receives a message, they will see a blinking message in their Windows task bar.
When they click on the blinking message, they will see a message box that they can close.
When the recipient is ready to view the message, they go to File > Messages and view their lists of messages.
By default, only messages that haven't been read already are listed but there is an option to view all messages.
System Messages might be sent by Xebra to certain operators to make them aware of errors or situations that need their attention.
