When you select the email option from Xebra Print Preview, your computer's default email client will display with a new email message that you can modify and send. The image below shows an Outlook Express email message generated from Xebra Print Preview.
1. The 'To' address on the purchase order email will get filled in automatically if you have an email address on the vendor ordering record in Xebra.
2. A PDF file of the purchase order document is attached to the email.
3. This email also has an artwork file attached for the logo on the T-Shirts in PDF file format.
In Xebra, you can attach any type of file to products, jobs, or line items. In this example, the artwork file was attached to the line item for product FBQRGGE-768 - 100% Cotton T-Shirt - Full Color Printing.
4. With each file you attach, you can determine what document types the file should be attached to if those documents are emailed. In this case, only purchase orders will get this file attachment. You can also determine whether or not the attachment should be zip compressed before it is attached to the email. In this case, the attachment was not flagged to be zip compressed.
