Another option in initiating emails from Xebra is to use the Email Templates feature. This feature allows you to create bulk email messages to send to multiple prospects as well as customers.

NOTE: Before using this feature, it is important to check the settings of your email application. You will want any send options to be set to manual. By not allowing your emails to send immediately, you will have the opportunity to review the emails created before it’s too late.

To begin, from Prospecting > View > Email Templates

Select Commands > New

In the Message field, enter "Be sure to check out this month's specials at www.mycompany.com!"

Select the Recipients button, then Add Customer Recipients in the Recipients dialog.

The Available Recipients dialog appears with a list of all customers who have an email address listed in their prospecting records.

Select the top name on the list and, while holding down the <SHIFT> key, select the bottom name on the list.  This will select all names on the list.  Select Add Recipients.

Close the open dialogs, returning to Prospecting.

From the main Prospecting dialog, select Template Email.

Double-click the Monthly Specials description in the Find Code dialog.

Select Add the recipients defined in the template.

We are now given an option to add prospects to receive this email.  If desired, you would now select prospect recipients but, for this example, select Continue creating email.

The Create One Email dialog provides options for sending the email.  Take a moment to thoroughly read this message.  Once finished, select Yes to view one email addressed to all recipients.  Your email client will now open with all the recipients listed in the Bcc prompt.

When you are finished viewing this, close your email WITHOUT sending the message.
