• | System will default to the proper Server Address and Port. |
o | The list box provided shows all available users and the operators that are currently logged in. All operators, except you, will need to log out of the Xebra before an update can be installed. |
o | Use the Send Message option to inform any operators logged in that an update is about to be performed. |
o | Use the Refresh List option to confirm that all other operators have logged out of the Xebra. |
o | When ready to proceed with the update click Install Now. |
o | The update process will automatically shut down your system, restart it, update your workstation, and require you to log back into the Xebra. |
o | After your Xebra Update has been installed, all workstations will automatically update on the first log in. The first operator to log into a workstation after the update will experience an “Updating Workstation” message and be required to log in a second time upon update completion. |
• | Protect Your Xebra Data – If Xetex is hosting your server, your data is automatically backed up daily to secure Xetex Business Systems, Inc. servers. If you have chosen to host the Xebra yourself, you will need to install a Xebra Backup Client which will run a daily backup of your system and transfer the data to our offices for secure storage. |
o | See Xebra Backup Client Installation in the Xebra Installation Guide earlier in this chapter. |
