As we begin in Prospecting it is important to recognize the flexibility this module provides you.  First, Prospecting allows for the entry and maintenance of records for contacts that have no sales activity (true prospects) without cluttering the data of active existing customers.  Second, in Order Entry I we addressed Customer Records and your ability to establish and tie together multiple records for the same Master Customer, but what if you have multiple contacts within the same organization and no desire or need to create individual Customer Shipping Records for them?  Prospecting provides the means to create any number of contact records all tied to a single Customer Shipping Record.

In addition to this flexibility, Prospecting provides extended options to record personal and professional data for each contact; data that may be useful in establishing a solid, positive relationship with your client.
