While the most basic searching option for finding jobs in Order Entry, this is also the most often used method. Limited but direct searching criteria includes; Job Number, Customer Code, Customer PO Number and Invoice Number. Also available are Release ID, for orders originating in Customer Specific Inventory, and E-Commerce Order Number, for orders originating in E-Commerce.
| • | Start in Order Entry > Commands > Find. |
| • | Enter Customer PO: 770384 |
| • | Results of your search based on the criteria you have entered will be shown in the list box including basic date for each. In this case, there should be just one matching result. |
| • | Double-click the lone result to close the Find dialog and load the chosen job in Order Entry. |
| • | Job 1045 with the Customer Purchase Order Number of 770384 is now displayed in the window. In a live situation, you would now proceed with the management of this job or, if this happens to not be the job you were looking for, initiate the Find Job option again. |
