Add File Attachments

Locate File Attachments in the lower left-hand corner of the screen and check the box.

A new dialog will appear with an Add button available. Click Add. This action opens a desktop browser which allows you to search your workstation for files. ANY file type may be added as an attachment. Once found and selected, file attachments are saved to the Xebra server and are then available to all users of your system. For the purpose of this example you may attach any file you have available and we will be calling it the “artwork”. Keep in mind, this feature has many uses and can play a significant role in sharing and organizing important material. In addition to being present directly on line items, file attachments can also be found on the main job screen.  Alternatively, with the File Attachments screen open, you can drag and drop any files from your browser or Desktop.
Once a file has been chosen, a new File Attachment dialog will appear. This dialog represents the file name and its size, allows for the copying of the file to your workstation and the deletion of the file. When creating documents including this line item, you will also have the opportunity to attach this file automatically and even zip the file if size merits. In this case, check Purchase Order and select OK. You will be returned to the main File Attachments dialog where you will see the file we have just attached. Simply close this screen to return to the Line Item.
